Wingate by Wyndham Columbus / Fort Benning

The Hotel staff are friendly. Hotel is undergoing a exterior facelift. Rooms are roomy. The Business center computer needs a soft wear update so word documents can be printed. The Breakfast is pretty slim. The Location is GREAT. You can walk to Stores and restaurants. The Pool is outside. The Internet is open.

Stayed there for 3 weeks recently in new job training nearby and really enjoyed my stay there. Rooms were very spacious, bed was very nice and comfortable. Left like a mini luxury suite in a way. Bathroom was very good too. Staff was very very helpful and friendly as well everyday. The only negative was the breakfast. Very repetitive but they made up for it very well with a courtesy "Happy Hour" meal from 6-7 pm every Monday-Wednesday with Lasagna on Monday, Nachos on Tuesdays and Hotdogs on Wednesday. Each dish was very good. I would definitely stay here again. The location is in a very quite and safe part of town near shopping and food options. Thank you to the Wingate Staff for a great 3 week stay.

I chose this hotel because of the reviews and it had a hot tub! It was very clean, modern rooms, and its close to a nice shopping center. Got to see my son graduate boot camp after a great nights sleep thanks to the comfy bed. They're so comfy you can actually purchase the pillows etc... . And i wasnt worried about my car all night, neighborhood felt safe. Only negative: front desk lady was a bit testy, not very friendly. But the rest of the stay was great. Plus its a non-smoking building. Would highly recommend.

It's very clean! Soft bed and pillows, perfect shower pressure (at least in my room) polite staff and great free breakfast. Only down fall is there is a slight odor, kind of like an old smell. Also the Wi-Fi is slightly annoying because of its slow speed.

Remodeling, but so nice... I was surprised to see our room and I wasn't disappointed! It was clean, the hotel lady who checked us in was kind and polite and explained everything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place to sleep... shower was super clean, 8 changing sprays on the shower head... gentle spray to hard water spray... perfect place! I was very relieved to see the room in great condition! We stayed on the 3rd floor... I wore white sock on the carpet and didn't have nasty looking socks when i took them off. I'm Very impressed!

Really enjoyed my stay. Check in and out was seamless. The staff was very nice. Did not get the opportunity to use the fitness center of the pool, but I witnessed several people having a blast in the pool and using the fitness center. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok. By the time that I came down for breakfast, there wasn't a lot left. I'm sure I will stay again.

Very clean, staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. We did a last minute trip and checked in really late. The rate was surprisingly cheap! Glad we stayed here.

My family and I was returning home from Florida for our first family vacation and stopped at Wingate to rest. The staff was pleasant. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. I will definitely look forward to staying again for our future family vacation and will recommend this hotel to everyone i know.
